Ana Mirtha Sariego

Artistic Director

Ana Mirtha is an international actress, director, theatre maker, and pedagogue, passionate about the poetics of movement and the body in the theatrical space. She graduated in Physical Theatre and Devising from LISPA (London International School of Performing Arts), a school based on the pedagogy of Jacques Lecoq and directed by Thomas Prattki and Amy Russell.

Ana Mirtha spent 13 years developing her professional career in the United Kingdom, establishing a strong foundation in physical theatre and collective creation.

A specialist in physical theatre and neutral mask, Ana Mirtha is the creator of “The Alchemic Body,” a method that integrates the exploration of the body as a space for artistic and personal transformation. Her expertise in devising skills has been central to her creative and pedagogical work, fostering collaborative and organic processes that empower group creativity and authentic expression on stage.

She has complemented her training with studies in circus techniques, contemporary dance, butoh, Suzuki, Laban, object theatre, puppetry, and masks, under the guidance of internationally renowned teachers such as Thomas Prattki (Lecoq), Amy Russell (Lecoq), Norman Taylor, (Lecoq) Lorna Marshall (Suzuki), Marie Gabrielle Rotie (Butoh), Vanessa Ewan (Laban), Frances Barbe, (Butoh), Angelelli (Grotowski), John Nobbs (Suzuki), and Jacqui Carroll (Suzuki), Richard Emmert (Teatro Noh) and companies such as Song of the Goat, Wired Aerial Theatre and Frank Theatre, among others.

With over 18 years of experience, Ana Mirtha has built an extensive international artistic career, working and performing in more than 15 countries across the United States, Latin America, Europe, and Asia. This global exposure has allowed her to connect diverse cultures and theatrical approaches, enriching her artistic and pedagogical vision. She has collaborated with numerous physical theatre companies, contributing her integrated approach that combines technique, intuition, and body awareness with a deep social and artistic sensibility.

As a pedagogue, she has taught in various institutions and festivals around the world, always promoting a holistic approach that connects body, mind, and spirit, while emphasizing the importance of collective creative processes in the performer’s development.

In 2010, Ana Mirtha founded Knuk Theatre, where she also served as the artistic director. Both she and the company have undergone significant artistic transformations over the years.

Her current vision is deeply aligned with her evolving multidisciplinary and international professional path, as well as her holistic experience as a therapist. This integration allows her to conceive theatre from a renewed perspective—one that highlights inner transformation, intercultural connection, and the social impact of art.

Sebastián Rad

Founding Member

Sebastián Rad is an actor, director, teacher, and stage creator with a solid career in theater and audiovisual productions. As founder and coordinator of Espacio Teatral Canning in Ezeiza (Buenos Aires), he has actively contributed to the development of performing arts in the region, training generations of performers through a committed, comprehensive, and ever-evolving pedagogy.

Passionate about theater, film, music, and the arts in general, Sebastián has built his career based on a deep connection to the physical and emotional work of the actor. His approach integrates internal and personal training with physical and spatial exploration, allowing for an authentic integration that transcends technique. This vision is grounded in his solid international training in the Meisner Technique and the pedagogy of Jacques Lecoq, further enriched by an official Master's degree in Audiovisual Acting, endorsed by the Rey Juan Carlos University.

Throughout his career, Sebastián has deepened his practice alongside renowned international teachers and mentors such as Thomas Prattki and Amy Russell (Lecoq pedagogy), Gabriel Chamé Buendía (Clown), Carlos Ianni (Latin American Center for Theatrical Creation and Research), Emilio García Wehbi (Theater Director), Mariela Asencio (Theater Director), Scott Trost (Meisner Institute of Los Angeles), Jesús Colmenar and Javier Fesser (Film Directors), and Jorge Muriel (Actor and Theater Director). He has also developed his training at the International School Cabuia of Creation and Movement, adding approaches that enrich his multidisciplinary and contemporary methodology.

Sebastián Rad has directed, performed, produced, and taught in theatrical spaces and cultural venues across Latin America, Europe, and India. His work spans independent and alternative circuits as well as institutional platforms and international festivals, always driven by a deep vocation for human connection and social transformation through art.

As a teacher, he proposes a fusion of theatrical languages where the performer is invited to inhabit the body as a poetic territory, integrating technique, intuition, and lived experience. His classes and creative processes connect body, mind, and spirit, seeking to awaken in each artist a full and sensitive stage awareness.
